Our guide Kaori was fantastic. She treated us like family. We enjoyed riding the train and the bus. It gave us more of a local feel. We also got to see a lot more of the city than we ever anticipated. The Kobe beef lunch was incredible! We highly recommend this tour to anyone who is traveling to Japan.

During a cruise stop in Kobe, we met our guide, Ryan, following a brief taxi ride to the city center. The walking tour offered us a comprehensive overview of the city's center. The tour showcased the city's main attractions effectively, and Ryan made sure it was an unforgettable experience. Notably, Ryan was an American who had resided in Kobe for several years. He was an informed and engaging guide, well-acquainted with the city's landmarks, traditions, and culture.

Our guide, Aki, was lovely. She was knowledgeable about all of the venues and took us to a wonderful Kobe beef restaurant for lunch. Nunobiki Herb Garden and Ropeway was beautiful, and the carpentry museum was a surprisingly great stop that gave us an immense appreciation for how temples and shrines were built with such intricacy. We were thrilled to learn that Aki had recently completed her sake sommelier certification, so she was able to answer many of our questions. This tour involves a lot of walking, steps and slopes but worth it. Two thumbs up for Aki making it a very memorable visit to Kobe!

Our kind and patient tour guide was Hiromi. She helped us navigate the buses and trains effectively and efficiently. The sites were chosen by our family as well as some recommendations by our guide. We took the Ropeway to the herb garden. It’s a nice stable and smooth ride with great views of the city below. She recommended a nice restaurant at our last stop where we enjoyed a nice Kobe steak meal. Thank you, Hiro! What a great finish to a wonderful day!!


