Reviews: Luberon, Roussillon & Gordes Half-Day Tour from Avignon
Guest User2024-06-19
Gordania was the most wonderful host, warm, friendly and welcoming. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and experience of the region gave a richness to the experience, and we learned so much. It was so interesting to learn about the unique ecology of Provence, giving rise to being known as the ‘Garden of France’. Cherries, almonds, apples, truffles, grapes for Cotes de Rhone, all ingredients of Ratatouille; the finest regional specialties. And of course Lavender! We were lucky enough to visit for the first blooms of lavender and we appreciated the photo stop at the beautiful Abbaye de Senanque and a field in full bloom. The scenery was stunning, with stops at a beautiful river gorge, spectacular view of Gordes, and Roussillon. Roussillon was a very enjoyable visit, Gordania very kindly helped us with vegetarian recommendations for lunch in a gorgeous bakery, and we also had the local lavender ice cream - divine! The market was a delight and we had some time to wander and buy gifts. The tour was very comfortable and nicely paced, just right. It has been a stand out experience of our holiday and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the region, especially for the first time. We travelled by train so this was an ideal way to explore the region with no stress. Thank you so much Gordania, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you!
Reviews: From Avignon: Full-Day Best of Provence Tour

We had a delightful day touring around the region. Our guide, Frederic, was knowledgeable about so many different aspects about the history, geology, and life in the region and I really appreciated his willingness to answer any question. All of the small villages were picturesque and to cap things off at the Pont du Gard was perfect. What an amazing structure and landscape. Thank you so much for a most enjoyable day!

Fabulous day visiting the Luberon villages. Each village had its own unique character. Remy was an excellent guide - informative, interesting and fun. The transport was comfortable. Fully recommended!
Reviews: From Paris: Mont Saint Michel Day Trip with a Guide

This should be a must-do if you haven’t been to Mont Saint Michel. The view as you walk up to the Mont is breathtaking and the abbey itself is awe-inspiring. Said to be the second-most visited place in France outside of Paris and one can understand why The drive there from Paris, while long (about 4 and a half hours each way including brief stops) is well organized. We had a comfortable bus, great drivers and a wonderful guide. Special shoutout to our guide Oname, who kept us informed, engaged and interested throughout the trip
Reviews: Cassis and Aix en Provence Sightseeing Tour from Marseille

Our driver/guide Sebastien told us interesting facts about the region and I enjoyed the small group (the maximum is eight people). We were given a map to explore Aix-en-Provence on our own. In Cassis, the view from Cape Canaille was stunning! As an added bonus, I went out for dinner after the tour with my new friends to try Provençal dishes Bouillabaisse and Aïoli. A wonderful afternoon (and evening) out!
