I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.★

Dean met us at our hotel, and was amazing with his knowledge, insight and enthusiasm. He took us on a walking tour from the oldest to the newest to the churches to the philharmonic and just made Hamburg come alive for us. Definitely ask for Dean!★

It's definitely worth a visit. It's located right on the Reeperbahn. It would be nice if there were a cloakroom or lockers. Especially in the colder months, it would be convenient to leave your coats somewhere. The staff is very friendly, and it's in a great location on the Reeperbahn. Even the Reeperbahn parking garage is worth it, even if you're going to a musical.★

We really enjoyed the boat trip. Lots of interesting things to see . However , we did find it difficult as non German speakers to understand everything that was seen . It was obvious that the German tour guide was being well received and entertaining , so we did feel quite left out . We were not offered audio guides .
