Our guide was fantastic! The history of the surrounding villages and the explanations throughout our excursion were all excellent—easily 5 stars. I learned so much about Mount Etna. I highly recommend this excursion 😊

We booked the 3 hour tour and really enjoyed it. Emanuele was our guide and we met outside the Teatro Politeama and Emanuele gave us an overview of the history of Palermo. It was then onto Teatro Massimo where we did the theatre tour (you need to pay separately for this) - it's a really good tour and the theatre is magnificent. Thereafter we covered Quattro Canti, Palermo Cathedral, Piazza Pretoria amongst several other sites. We opted for a general overview of Palermo and let Emanuele decide where we went but you can tailor the tour to cover any specific sites if there is somewhere you specifically want to visit. Emanuele was a wonderful guide - he was friendly, very knowledgable, spoke really good English and was great company. You do cover a few miles during the 3 hours (we walk more than 5 miles) so I would recommend comfy shoes. We would strongly recommend this tour - we thought it was good value for money given its private and some of the group tours we past were large.

My daughter and I traveled here to see the Valley of the temples and it was spectacular. This was by far the best example of this time. In such great shape would highly recommend to any one.

I wish I could remember the name of our driver, he was absolutely fabulous and really made this tour special for my family. Not only did he know all the best spots to get views from, he also was kind and funny. I'm a little unstable and a natural born clutz. He sensed my nervousness at walking around the crater and he accompanied me all around. Some of the views and locations really look like they come from another world. Getting the opportunity to see these up close and personal with no time constraint was completely worthwhile. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes to take their time and really enjoy the scenery.


