The entire trip was quite strenuous. Reaching and descending from Baishuizhai Scenic Area to 4099 meters takes at least three and a half hours. Visiting the last two attractions would make the return trip to the city a bit late. Our driver, Mr. Zhou, was very kind; he drove steadily and safely at a moderate speed throughout the trip. He patiently introduced us to attractions in Guangzhou and the surrounding area whenever he had a spare moment. He waited for us at the scenic area entrance very patiently. We spent far more time at Baishuizhai in the morning, not leaving until after 1 PM, but Mr. Zhou didn't complain. On the way to the next scenic area, when we asked to have lunch first, he patiently helped us find a restaurant and took us there. After visiting all the attractions and returning to the city around 8 PM, we suggested going directly to a nearby restaurant instead of returning to the hotel, and he drove us there as well.★
