There's a one-hour snowmobile ride outside Santa Claus Village; the route is scenic, booking and ticketing is a breeze, and the combination of a reindeer farm and huskies is quite unique.

The meeting time changed depending on the weather that day. We met at 6pm and were unable to see the aurora for the first two and a half hours. However, thanks to the hard work of our guides, we were able to see it about three hours after we departed. We disbanded around 3am. It was very cold at night and our cell phone batteries were running out of juice, so it's important to take precautions against the cold.

Friendly and attentive guides provided appropriate clothing and footwear for the cold. The hike was super easy, pleasant, and fun. Although it was a little slippery in some sections, they were very attentive to everyone... and having spikes on our shoes helped to ensure everything was safe. At the end, we had a moment by the campfire with sausages, reindeer sandwiches, marshmallows, biscuits, and hot drinks. Excellent!


