Although we were a little late, the tour guide was already waiting in the lobby on time and kept checking in on our phones – very thoughtful service. During the trip, the guide sampled local delicacies; while not all were to our liking, they were all unique and worth trying. The guide was very dedicated in explaining the unique culture and history of each place, and the AI translation worked flawlessly. Overall, this is a great first trip for travelers who have never been to Vietnam before.

I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour. The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor. The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.


