The trip was great! I think this tour is a great way to see some of the most prominent and beautiful sites in Beijing. The tour company is very communicative and accommodating. Our guide Serena was absolutely wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the sites and very kind and warm. We learned a lot from her and felt welcomed to China! Definitely recommend this tour.ā

A very well-organized tour. Tana met us at the hotel. We gained a wealth of information and impressions of Chinese culture. Our guide spoke excellent Russian, understood each other very well, and was very responsive to our needs. We visited three major Beijing sights in one day. We had a wonderful time and were thrilled. This tour isn't ideal for those looking for a long walk, but it was perfect for us, as it was already cold outside and our time to visit the sights was limited. I'd especially like to mention the organized lunch; it was delicious. Great value for money! And of course, at the end of the tour, we were taken to a tea ceremony. I'd like to point out that we encountered no pitfalls on this tour; everyone was driven smoothly throughout, delivered to the hotel, and there were no additional expenses. Lunch is, of course, at your own expense š. Thank you for the interesting and informative tour; we loved it!ā

The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).ā

Mary reached out the day before via WhatsApp and answered my logistic questions. Overall Iām very happy I joined her tour. She is patient, upbeat, and explained well without being overwhelming. Perhaps Iām out of shape, but this ~5 hours walking tour was intense during the last hour or so. Be sure to wear comfiest shoes and bundled up! Also Iām glad Maryās notes did mention bringing drinks and snacks with you. The snack shops inside the Forbidden City were too long to wait.ā

Amazing! Our tour guide, Jay, was great! Fluent English, great explanation, very helpful when you have questions. One of the best tour guides Iāve had so far since arriving in China. The places we visited are also beautiful. But since weāre trying to squeeze everything into 1 day, obviously, you wonāt have detailed history of each place. Jay did his best though IMO. The lunch was also good. Got to taste åäŗ¬ē¤éø (Beijing duck), Kungpao chicken, and plenty other dishes (canāt remember the name though).ī„
