The scenery is serene and beautiful, surrounded by ferns and moss-covered trees that bring cool, moist air. Scenic viewpoints appear sporadically from the start of the trail, offering glimpses of the Lanyang Plain and the Holy Ridge Line on clear days, with spectacular sea of clouds often forming in the afternoon. The elevated railway section visible later showcases remarkable craftsmanship intertwined with traces of time, evoking nostalgic sentiments.
