The half-day elephant camp was a great elephant experience. You could get up close and personal with the elephants, bathe them, or feed them candy – a truly wonderful experience.
Our seven-year-old and five-year-old had a great time, while our one-year-old, being carried, probably just found it amusing.
A few suggestions regarding this trip:
1. Transportation and Group Formation:
This was a half-day group tour, with 12 people in one vehicle.
2. Meal Time:
The main problem was that there wasn't time to eat after taking care of the children.
3. Transportation Recommendation:
Next time, for a better experience, it's best to hire a car or drive yourself; I think the experience will be much better.

For this price, the value for money is almost unbeatable. Our guide, Ah Si, knew the route well and took meticulous care of us along the way. I've forgotten the name of the guide/photographer, but he took photos for all the families along the way and provided a download link in the evening. Free towels and seasickness medication were provided, and a songthaew (shared taxi) was arranged for pick-up and drop-off. The only downsides were that the water at the snorkeling spot was a bit murky, and the provided snorkeling mask leaked slightly, affecting the experience. I recommend bringing your own snorkeling mask for hygiene and reliability. Overall, it was a very good one-day island tour.Trip.com Picks
