Jack, the tourist guide was nice and friendly. He speaks well English and accompanied us through the trip. Basically he made a short introduction of the different places and let us enjoy independently. Our tour guide, Mika Kim, was incredibly fluent in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, providing excellent information on various attractions and historical sites. She also gave us detailed recommendations for high-value restaurants. We were also very grateful to her for strongly recommending Osaka Castle for cherry blossom viewing at night, allowing us to include this impromptu activity on our last day. It resulted in a wonderful evening of cherry blossom viewing and picnics, a perfect ending to our trip. Thank you again to our guide for recommending these attractions! 👍👍👍★

A big thumbs up to Uncle Big Head on WeChat on February 24th! He provided clear information, location, and photos in advance, and was very enthusiastic and meticulous in replying to questions and offering helpful reminders. His driving was very smooth and safe, and the itinerary and arrangement of the three attractions were well-planned. His descriptions of the attractions and restaurants were concise. All three attractions are traditional and representative, rich in local culture and history. Uncle Big Head deserves high praise for his itinerary planning.★

I felt this was a truly heartwarming trip to Kyoto! From the magnificent golden splendor of Kinkaku-ji to the thousand torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine, every stop was breathtaking and thought-provoking. This Arashiyama + Sanzenin itinerary was fantastic! Traveling with kids, the temperature reached nearly 37 degrees Celsius that day, but it was at least 3-4 degrees cooler inside Sanzenin. Sanzenin was lush and green, and many people were taking photos there. Arashiyama was much more crowded than Sanzenin, so I recommend having lunch there; many restaurants only accept cash, so remember to bring cash! For those traveling with young children, it's best to book Arashiyama Scenic Railway tickets in advance. Ask the travel agency's customer service about the most convenient time to book. The round trip by train takes one hour. We even saw people rafting from the train, but we didn't have time. Maybe next time! A special mention goes to our tour guide, Liu Ling; she was incredibly helpful on the train, providing explanations and even taking us to the station before the train departed. On the return trip, she gave the children Arashiyama refrigerator magnets.
