I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.

I was there for a concert, so the signal was occasionally cut off in crowded areas, but that's unavoidable. If you're traveling, it should work fine. It doesn't come with a phone number. I definitely would recommend buying this if you don't care about having a functioning phone number. It was nice and I got the chance to use data exclusively despite wifi being everywhere in Seoul and Busan!


