I visited Sanxingdui on my birthday, which coincidentally is the same year the major discovery was made (1986)! It was an incredible experience. The museum perfectly showcases the mysterious Shu civilization, with its one-of-a-kind bronze figures and captivating gold masks. The artifacts are so different from other ancient Chinese cultures, making you wonder about their origins. A truly unforgettable and mind-blowing place.

Our tour guide, Shanshan, was a beautiful and meticulous woman from Chengdu. Besides providing thoughtful and detailed itinerary planning, she also made adjustments based on our needs. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and scenic spots, offering clear and informative explanations. Most importantly, she recommended many hidden gem restaurants frequented by locals. Today's trip was wonderful. At the Red Panda Forest Park, we could quietly observe the red pandas, and the keepers carefully explained their daily lives. We even gave carrots to the lively and adorable raccoons. The cold-water fish for lunch was freshly caught and delicious. In the afternoon, we were free to relax, sitting by the river and brewing tea. Our driver, Mr. Zhang, is excellent; he always arranged the best pick-up locations for us. Our family had a very happy and relaxing time. Thank you, driver Mr. Zhang!


