Easy to pick up at TPE terminal 1. The instructions told us to pick up at a kiosk near TPE mrt station B1 level. I didn't see the kiosk but notice a huge manned counter at the entrance of B1 TPE mrt station. I tried asking and could redeem the package (easycard+mrt tokens) with them so all's good.

I went on a solo trip. I took a large bus from Taipei Bus Center, but there were only three passengers, including myself. The tour price was cheap, even though it included the 150 NTD entrance fee to the Kavalan Museum of Traditional Arts and a 200 NTD coupon usable at the Kavalan Whisky Distillery. At the distillery, the staff gave a thorough tour of the factory (though it was in Chinese). However, there was no tour guide, so I didn't know how to get to the hot spring park at the end, but luckily someone on the same tour knew, which was a great help. There is plenty of time for each attraction, so you can enjoy the whole day. I highly recommend it.

The ferry journey from Magong Port in Penghu to Budai Port in Chiayi was a very smooth experience overall. Before boarding, the port signage was clear, and the queuing and ticket checking processes were quick and convenient, without any sense of confusion. The cabin was spacious, the seats were comfortable, and the views were excellent, allowing passengers to relax and enjoy the azure seascape. Simple drinks and snacks were provided on board, a thoughtful touch for a long voyage. The voyage was stable, even with slight waves, making it suitable for travelers who wanted to relax or take photos. Upon disembarking, the Budai Port pier facilities were clean and convenient, with quick access to shuttle buses or taxis. Overall, this journey was comfortable and efficient, making it a good choice for returning to Taiwan from Penghu.


