The whole trip was fantastic! Our tour leader, Michael, was incredibly friendly and even ordered us some super delicious peanut ice cream rolls at Shifen Old Street. I highly recommend this day trip! 🙌🙌🙌★

Fascinating to see other parts of Taiwan not too far from Taipei and learn some history. See incredible natural sights and just a great half day trip. Highly recommend. Amy was/is fantastic, enthusiastic, happy and so knowledgeable (in many languages)!★

It's great that you can buy and reserve seats on a specific train in advance. Once you arrive at the station, all you have to do is pick up your ticket at the ticket office.★

I bought a Fun Pass, but the biggest regret was that the museums were closed on Mondays… Don't try to do everything in one day; I recommend getting a 2-day or 3-day pass to get around. I got my money's worth since I bought the 1-day tickets with a buy-one-get-one-free offer, but otherwise, it probably would have been cheaper to just buy tickets separately.★
