I highly recommend our tour guide! Prince Gong's Mansion has so many stories; without a good guide, it would be a rushed experience. Guide Li has a profound understanding of Qing Dynasty history, ancient architecture, and especially the culture of "Fu" (ē¦, meaning good fortune), bringing the stories behind every detail to life. We'll definitely hire Guide Li again next time!ā

Our experience visiting Prince Gong's Mansion with Ms. Zeng was absolutely fantastic! She possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of this mansion, which represents "half of Qing Dynasty history." From the construction wisdom during Heshen's reign and Prince Gong Yixin's political career, to the architectural regulations, garden aesthetics, and even the stories behind every plaque and couplet, her explanations were both insightful and captivating. She led us through the exquisite Western-style gates, the Bat Pond, the "Fu" (ē¦, meaning good fortune) stele, and the Grand Theater, skillfully connecting historical figures with the stories behind the spaces, instantly bringing the cold, ancient architecture to life. Ms. Zeng was erudite and engaging, patiently answering all our questions and sharing many interesting historical details. This visit not only allowed us to appreciate the grandeur and beauty of the mansion but also provided a deeper understanding of Qing Dynasty princely mansion culture and historical changes. It was a truly valuable historical and cultural journey, combining both educational value and entertainment, and I highly recommend it!ā

Today I participated in a guided tour of Prince Gong's Mansion by "Teacher Zeng, the Top Scholar of Beijing". I can only say that the time was too short. His insightful explanations would have made it worth a whole day. However, Teacher Zeng took us to all the places we should visit and saw, and explained everything in detail. I benefited a lot from the tour.ā

I brought my parents, but the 9:30 AM meeting time was a bit too early. The two-hour gap in the middle was pointless; it would have been better if it started after 10:00 AM. Our tour guide, Yueyue, was very friendly and provided detailed explanations, teaching us about the stories of the various owners of the Prince Gong's Mansion. She even thoughtfully gave us a small "Fu" (good fortune) character gift at the end. Thank you for the experience!ā

Guide Ma's explanations were incredibly detailed. He not only explained the general significance of the attractions but also highlighted many hidden gems. Before coming, I only knew about the "Fu" (ē¦, meaning good fortune) character stele, but today I learned about the "One Emperor, Two Kings" stele.
