The captain took us on a fun ride on this cool boat, the turtles were really cool to see all together and interactive, then the crater was full of coral and fish. It was incredible for our friend on his first ever snorkel. The staff were extra helpful with our 4 year old helping to manage what could have been a tough time! Then there were the bonus dolphins swimming close. Overall really amazing experience!

We booked Makena Coast Charters in Maui for the 2.5-hour snorkeling tour at Molokini Crater. Matt and Lucia were excellent guides, even stopping along the way to give us a good, long look at whales breaching the surface. They provided thorough instructions and fun facts about the area and sea life. The crystal clear waters covering the reef along Molokini's coast provided beautiful snorkeling with an abundance of interesting coral and fish to see. We highly recommend a tour with Makena Coast Charters when visiting Maui, and we will definitely see them again on our next visit. Note: our actual time in the water was 30 to 45 minutes.

This tour exceeded all my expectations!! Ally and Kaika were absolutely the best Captain and guide you could have wished for. Kaika explained a brief history of each surrounding island as well as detailed stories tailored for each location we visited to snorkel. Ally literally floated with my sister and myself explaing each fish we would point out and ensured we felt safe to explore the ocean. She was so funny, knowledgeable, and kind. They both had wonderful jokes, the music was great, and a catamaran tour could never offer the intimate yet adventure filled experience we had on the raft. Thank you both more making this 40th birthday trip one for the books!!

Captain Brandan and Jess were excellent ! They were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly! They took a very good care of all of us on the boat and in the sea. Unforgettable experience. We’ve seen lots of different fish and bunch of turtles while snorkeling. Thank you!
