2. Ancient capital Cetinje
Head to Cetinje, the former capital of Montenegro at an altitude of 650 meters. Once the nation's political and cultural center, it is known as an "open-air museum." Along the way, enjoy the mountain town scenery and visit historical buildings such as King Nikola's Palace (exterior) and Vlaška Church.
3. Cetinje Monastery
Visit the sacred site of the Eastern Orthodox Church in Heishan, where this 15th-century monastery houses holy relics and serves as a significant national religious symbol. Please wear **long pants or skirts (covering the knees)** as a sign of respect.
4. Lovćen National Park & Njeguši Village
Cross the magnificent Lovćen mountain range to reach the traditional mountain village of Njeguši—the birthplace of the Montenegrin dynasty. You can freely choose whether to visit local farms at your own expense to taste or purchase specialties like air-dried ham (Pršut), cheese, and wine, experiencing authentic mountain flavors.
5. Njegoš Mausoleum
Climb to the summit of Mount Lovćen, over 1,600 meters above sea level, and visit the magnificent mausoleum built in honor of the poet-king Petar II Petrović-Njegoš.
