Reviews: Chengdu departure - Siguniang Mountain (luxury air-conditioned bus) shuttle bus
Guest User2026-03-17
The shuttle bus departs from the Mirui building and leaves quite on time. The driver is good and not too fast. On the way there, I chose to sit in the driver's seat for a beautiful view.
Reviews: 2-day private tour from Chengdu to Siguniang Mountain + Bipenggou (with driver and car rental)

Highly recommend this company, especially for Thai travelers. We went to Bipenggou and Si Dao and made the right choice booking with them. Initially, the package seemed different from what we wanted, but after contacting them via chat, we found out that everything is customizable. Just tell them where you want to go, what you want to do, and where you'll be picked up and dropped off, and they'll calculate the price. We went with 3 people but chose a 9-seater vehicle for maximum comfort, and it was definitely worth it. The seating was just right, with plenty of space for luggage, a kettle, vibrating/semi-massage seats, and heated seats. You'll need to consider the vehicle layout; shorter people can sit in the second row, but taller people should choose the third and fourth rows for luggage space as the floor is raised. The rear cargo area is spacious like a minivan. *Importantly*, I must commend the vehicle's excellent suspension. It's a JMC brand, likely tuned for mountain driving; we didn't experience any motion sickness or dizziness. The vehicle was clean and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The driver was skilled and didn't smell of cigarettes; he did smoke occasionally during breaks, but he probably understood that we were Thai and wouldn't smoke close to us. The driver treated us like family. There were no oxygen tanks provided, but that wasn't a major issue. Because you can buy them all along the way at restaurants, it's good to have some in the car and you'll definitely use them. We asked for recommendations for good restroom stops, and overall, the journey was good, not bad at all. / *Warning* The food above is a bit hard to eat.

Reviews: Chengdu Calligraphy & Chinese Painting Class
Guest User2025-10-28
One of the best experiences we had in China. We booked this class as a birthday gift for my husband, and he was absolutely thrilled. The painting teacher and the school headmaster were both exceptionally kind and attentive—genuinely caring hosts who guided us with great patience. A fluent English-speaking interpreter was present the entire time and assisted with everything, including arranging transport. She also shared fascinating insights into local customs and everyday life in China. The result was a deeply authentic, hands-on experience that felt personal and thoughtfully curated rather than touristy. If you’re looking for something meaningful and memorable, this is it. 11/10. /// (The following is AI English to Chinese translation) This was one of the best experiences we had in China. We booked this class as a birthday gift for my husband, and he was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it. The painting teacher and the school headmaster were both exceptionally kind and attentive, patiently guiding us from start to finish and taking care of us in every possible way. An interpreter was present throughout the entire process, providing thoughtful assistance with everything from arranging transportation to class details. She also introduced us to numerous Chinese customs and daily life, enthusiastically answering all our questions. This made the entire experience not only hands-on and immersive, but also truly grounded, unlike some superficial tourist activities. If you're looking for a meaningful and memorable activity, this is it. Unique, genuine, and well-organized. 11/10—We would definitely sign up again without hesitation.
Reviews: Chengdu: Cooking Class with Fresh Market Experience (5 Dishes)
Guest User2025-11-10
Amazing experience. Lance is a knowledgeable and informative host. The tour through the markets was a great experience and I learned a lot about the food and culture. Li was a great chef and teacher which resulted in many delicious dishes to be eaten. I left with happy memories, a full belly and a collection of recipes to try at home.
Reviews: Join a local market tour for authentic Sichuan cooking! - Chengdu-Eatwith
Guest User2025-10-02
Great experience, we were guided by Hang in the market, who explained the different vegetables to us. We then had tea and ate peanuts. Then we started cooking with a chef. She didn't speak English, but Hang did the translation. We prepared 3 dishes, all as good as each other. I highly recommend doing this activity during your visit to Chengdu!
