We really enjoyed this trip to Kutna Hora. It is about 1 hour away from Prague. It is a beautiful working town. Was once an important silver mining town. Many beautiful churches. The Ossuary is extraordinary. We cannot take pictures out of respect for the dead but this is not a place to be missed. Because of so many dead bodies over the centuries, they decided to use these bones to make it into an impressive display of art. A macabre yet beautiful place. Our guide Peter was fabulous. The car was very comfortable and he taught us so many things about this area, and history of Czech Republic.★

Went for a wander with Dylan around the castle and surrounding area. It started with a walk across a bridge and a tram trip (ticket not included) to the top. We then walked to the monastery where something (I'll leave it to you to find out) was invented. After which we strolled down through historic streets, stopping at a beautiful view point (where photographer/guide Dylan might take a photo of you and your companions), and finally arriving at the castle complex which Dylan times perfectly for the changing of the guard. Dylan, clearly passionate about Czech history, Hapsburgs, and things being thrown 😉, took us on an engaging exploration back through time. Would highly recommend. 10/10 stars Dylan. Loved the binder 👍★

Our guide Blanche was wonderful! Her French was impeccable, she had an anecdote for every building, and her historical points of reference were spot-on. We could have spent the whole day with her. We sincerely hope to take another tour with her on our next trip to Prague.
