We decided to make the evening a true event by booking a makeup and costume service, which certainly added to the atmosphere and the feeling of being completely immersed in the imperial era. We really enjoyed our visit to the Imperial Cuisine Museum in Beijing. It wasn't just a museum; it was a fun show with colorful traditional dances and a exciting piece of Peking Opera. It felt like a real celebration of Chinese culture. After learning about the history of Chinese cooking, we got to try some dishes. The food was absolutely delicious and a perfect end to a great day. I would definitely recommend it for a tasty and cultural experience.
