Gulangyu is a must visit when going to Xiamen. Brown, our guide, was fantastic with a lot of knowledge of Xiamen and China. One downside of the tour is that due to the holiday we could not start at the originally scheduled time because ferry tickets were sold out. We were able to complete the majority or the tour given the shorter duration. My advice is to spend more time on the island getting lost in the old town, looking at the incredible architecture as the buildings and history is impressive and interesting.★

The cable car queue was a bit long, and it was a bit hot on the boat trip. Yujian Minnan is a great place for kids to spend a whole day. The lunch restaurant wasn't very nice and wasn't good value for money.★
