Reviews: Half-Day Tour to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town [Explore the Millennial Water Town with Timeless Charm and Lively Atmosphere]
Guest User2026-09-07
I was lucky enough to join a tour group full of foreigners and received a bilingual guide. Although there was only one attraction, the guide still completed the tour very diligently. The fee was not expensive, even cheaper than taking a taxi there on my own. The car was also clean and comfortable. Zhujiajiao was also very beautiful. The first part was quite commercialized, but it got much better later. It was a beautiful Jiangnan landscape that was very close to the city.

Reviews: Shanghai Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - A Water Town in Ink-wash Painting Style Day Tour
Guest User2026-10-10
It's a beautiful town with a real old Chinese atmosphere. All the sights are within walking distance. It's a popular spot, and therefore crowded with tourists. We had to wait in lines to take photos. The main downside was the lack of a Russian-speaking guide, even though we bought a ticket with a Russian-speaking guide. It's unclear why we paid the extra 4,000 rubles. We ended up getting a transfer to the town and back to the hotel, like a comfortable taxi. We could have taken the metro.

Reviews: Shanghai Tower observation deck 118th floor special tour
Guest User2026-07-28
Just came arrived back at the hotel from one of the best evenings I had while staying in Shanghai. A meeting point was suggested by the tour guide - Silvia who happened to be a useful guide for any extra information I needed, no matter of it’s related to the tower, Shanghai, or one usage of Alipay, WeChat, or Didi. She patiently answered all my questions, took photos, and highlighted things on the way to the elevator I might would have just skipped if i would have gone bymyself. All in all, a great experience 10/10 would recommend. Visit the tower with Silvia if you are in China for the first time.

Reviews: Shanghai Film Park + Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Day Tour [Relive the Past + Explore a Millennium-Old Town]
Guest User2026-09-28
The day trip was worth it! The Film Park was actually better than we expected, and not as cheeky as some reviews implied. It was quite interesting to see various sets from different epochs, and the time allowed was enough. The tour included a ride with the park's tram, which was a cute feature. Then we had buffet lunch, which allowed us to taste several Chinese dishes that were new to us, and was rated positive by the Chinese tour participants (certainly nothing extravagant, but very decent lunch for around $9USD). Moving on to the water town: The town is very nice (although of course full of tourist shops), but I felt a bit more time was needed in the itinerary to not rush the visit, and that would be my main small complaint from this activity. Overall, it was a nice day trip with interesting sights and good value. William, our English speaking guide, was helpful and attentive, and the transport bus was modern and air-conditioned. I would book this activity again.
