I think going by group bus like this is the best way. Just taking the bus alone is a bit of a hassle. If I had taken the train to Rennes and then taken a bus from there to Mont Saint-Michel... wow, I think I would have been exhausted to death. Also, Mont Saint-Michel was as good as I imagined. It is magnificent. It was worth the trip because it was clearly visible even on a windy and rainy day.★
