Sidi Bou Said: Ebru Marbling Workshop

Discover the ancient art of Ebru, traditional paper marbling, in a hands-on and immersive workshop designed for all skill levels. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you'll learn how to prepare the water bath, mix and control pigments, and use traditional brushes, needles, and combs to create mesmerizing, flowing patterns on the surface of the water.

Create completely unique artworks shaped by intuition, movement, and the delicate interaction between color and liquid. Alongside technique, explore the cultural history and meditative nature of Ebru, encouraging patience, focus, and creative expression.

The workshop starts and ends at the Sidi Bou Said Creative Hub, located within the Ennejma Ezzahra Palace and Museum. You'll leave with several finished pieces and a deeper connection to this timeless art form.
