Ming was our driver, and he informed us of the meeting time and place the day before departure. The car was quite new and comfortable, and there were eight of us in total. He drove very steadily, and we visited almost all the mentioned attractions, allowing us ample time to explore. We departed at 7:30 AM and arrived in Lijiang around 4:40 PM after completing the entire itinerary. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend it.

Tiger Leaping Gorge Shangri-La Day Trip ✨ Highly recommend this tour! The driver was incredibly nice, patient, and reliable, and the journey was comfortable and unhurried. We were lucky to meet a group of friendly fellow travelers, chatting and laughing all the way. We even saw colorful clouds, which the driver said was very lucky and rare 😄😄😄 Tiger Leaping Gorge is a must-see! Witnessing the Jinsha River rushing forward with your own eyes was truly exhilarating. ⚠️Important Reminder: The wind is extremely strong at the gorge's entrance; your hair can easily get messed up. Hold your phone securely and remember to bring a windproof jacket!

The driver was a handsome young man, not very talkative, but he covered the essentials without going into too much detail. To be honest, the tourist attractions looked quite appealing in the descriptions, but in reality, they were rather ordinary. The most attractive sights were Tiger Leaping Gorge and the prayer wheels. Lunch was a small hot pot for each person, but the meat slices were processed meat—it was neither beef, nor pork, nor lamb—just enough to fill our stomachs. The young man let us borrow clothes for free at the service station, which proved useful at Tiger Leaping Gorge. Since everyone borrowed clothes, we had to drive from the highway to the service station to return them and then back to the highway on the way back, which took up a lot of time. Thank you to the young man!

This day trip from Lijiang to Shangri-La by chartered car was a perfect five-star experience! Our family of three, traveling with our child during the summer holidays, chose the 9-seater Ford Transit. The space was exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and not cramped at all, even on long journeys, the child remained calm. The driver was a native of Shangri-La, with steady and experienced driving skills on mountain roads. He meticulously explained the cultural stories of Tiger Leaping Gorge, the prayer flags, and the prayer wheels throughout the trip, and even arranged a traditional Tusi (local chieftain) banquet. The itinerary was relaxed and well-paced, purely for sightseeing with no hard selling. The return trip was smooth and worry-free via the highway. The driver thoughtfully reminded us of precautions for high altitude travel, showing great consideration for family travel. The service was reliable and attentive, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend this chartered car service for family trips.
