Reviews: [Guaranteed Departure] Fukuoka: Yufuin + Beppu Kamado Jigoku + Dazaifu Tenmangu One Day Tour [Japan Kyushu • Kannawa • English Guide]

Fantastic Kyushu Tour with an Outstanding Guide! I had a wonderful experience exploring Yufuin, Beppu, and Dazaifu, and a big part of that was thanks to my excellent guide, Daisuke! Despite the bad weather, Daisuke made the entire trip enjoyable and memorable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing Japanese culture and local traditions. What impressed me most was his flexibility and willingness to accommodate all my wishes. He went above and beyond the standard itinerary, even showing me a unique onsen that became one of the highlights of the day. The tour was well organized, with a great mix of beautiful scenery, food experiences, and interesting local discoveries. Daisuke's positive attitude and enthusiasm made even the rainy weather feel like part of the adventure. Special thanks to Daisuke for turning a rainy day into one of the highlights of my trip to Japan! Highly recommended!

Reviews: 1-Day Oita Adventure: Dazaifu, Yufuin & Kamado Jigoku
Guest User2026-02-09
This day trip was fantastic! We visited four places, each with beautiful scenery. At Dazaifu, you can draw a fortune slip; I got a "small good" one, hoping for better academic results. Yufuin was also great for exploring, with lots of little shops. My favorite was the Beppu Ropeway 🚡. It started snowing as soon as we set off, and by the time we reached the top, everything was covered in snow—it was incredibly beautiful, and the kids loved it. My biggest complaints about the Kamado Hell were that the cannonball pit area was too small, making it very crowded, and the 30-minute time limit was too short; 45 minutes would have been more reasonable.

Reviews: A day trip to Kyushu for autumn foliage viewing, Beppu Hell, Yufuin, and Dazaifu, including the Yufuin no Mori train.

A great travel experience, especially with our guide Jimmy's humorous and engaging style, which made the whole trip very relaxing and enjoyable. As someone who frequently travels abroad, I really appreciated this kind of day trip experience. It solved both transportation issues and allowed for a well-planned itinerary, eliminating the need for painstaking research and planning.

I'm usually too lazy to write reviews, but I'm doing this because I'm truly satisfied. Customer service representative Charlotte was incredibly helpful and patient, answering all my questions. It was thanks to her that I booked three trips, including one three months from now. The driver/guide I met on the day was also wonderful. She's a Xinjiang girl, not Dilraba Dilmurat, but she was professional, efficient, and kind.
