Our experienced instructor Maggie Ross will take you on a journey through the rich history of marble arts, introducing you to various types of tools and discussing the unique properties of marble and other stones. You'll learn the traditional hand carving technique for each tool as you practice on a block of marble for a designated period. Whether you choose to follow one of our Archaic Greek design templates or bring your own idea to life, Maggie will work with you every step of the way, from concept to execution. With no prior experience necessary, this three-hour workshop is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the art of marble sculpture in a peaceful and serene outdoor setting.
