Reviews: Reykjavik: LAVA SHOW - Immersive Experience Entry Ticket
Guest User2026-10-31
5/5 Stars – Incredible experience! The Premium ticket is 100% worth it! The Lava Show in Reykjavík was a 20-minute walk from where my adult daughter and I stayed. which was perfect for us. We booked the Premium ticket, and while standard looks good, Premium was 100% worth it! We took a lift up to a private room for Premium guests—a lovely, relaxed atmosphere where we enjoyed a drink (we don't drink alcohol, so we had Coke). From the balcony, we picked our seats and had an incredible view of the whole room and the lava. The show was brilliant! The video about Iceland’s volcanic history was so interesting, and host Ian was amazing—super knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. After the main crowd left, Premium guests stayed for an insightful behind-the-scenes video. Ian then came over personally, showed us more lava, let us hold it, and gave us a piece to take home! Highlight of our trip—don't skip the Premium upgrade!

I was so lucky! I managed to catch the aurora borealis on my first visit. The tour guide even helped me take photos. The company was very thoughtful, and customer service kept checking in the group chat to make sure everyone was on the bus and to remind us of important information.

Reviews: Whale watching in Reykjavik, Iceland with optional departures from Snæfellsnes, Akureyri, Húsavík, or Dalvík (choose between cruise, speedboating, or audio guide)
Guest User2025-08-21
It was a fun activity, and the kids loved it. However, the whales were quite far away. If you want to see them up close, you'll need to take a speedboat.

Reviews: Half-Day Whale Watching Tour with Elding in Iceland|Multiple boat types and various activities|No free option available

Let me start by saying that we did see whales! If we don't, the company gives you the chance to go again. And that alone gets at least a 4 out of 5. On the boat, the guide shows you where to look, but either the speaker is weak or it's simply not powerful enough for such a large space, but the guide is pretty hard to hear from the middle, let alone the back, of the boat. They provide equipment, but I'm not sure they sanitize it, so it's best to sanitize your hands. They also give you motion sickness pills. A huge plus: after the trip, they send you photos if you missed anything (you should email them), and a review listing the species you saw. Overall, a 4+. But if you can, book a miniboat tour; it's not much more expensive, and the experience will be much greater.
