You took lots of photos for us to help us create good memories in Taichung, and guided us safely from start to finish!! Although it was a hot day, it was nice to tour in a cool car, and the sunset at Gaomei Wetlands was truly amazing ❤️ I highly recommend this day tour in Taichung 👍

I am writing this because there are no reviews. The day before, the person in charge will inform you of the pickup time and the order of locations. The itinerary is Pickup (8 am) -> Xiangshan Visitor Center & Wenwu Temple (1.5h) -> Sun Moon Lake (3.5h) -> Gaomei Wetlands (1.5h). The guide provides explanations in English and Chinese only for the first location; the rest is free time. Specifically for Sun Moon Lake, you are provided with a boat, and you can freely travel by boat for 3 hours, going from Shuishe to Xuangguang, then to Itashao, and finally back to Shuishe. You can have lunch in Itashao during this time. The wetlands are also free time; you go to watch the sunset and return by vehicle by 5:30 pm, after which you will be dropped off at the place where you first boarded. The tour starts around 8 pm and ends between 6:30 pm and 7 pm. I chose this tour because I wanted to see Gaomei Wetlands and Sun Moon Lake, but I didn't really want to visit Rainbow Village. I recommend this tour to anyone in a similar situation.

The driver is very friendly and has good driving skill. She also suggested an extra photo stop enroute. However, the combination of Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetland is quite rush with this duration (9am to 5pm). Personally I won't recommend this combi if the travellers want to spend more time at each location, especially travelling with seniors and require more rest stops.

It was great. The group tour was very convenient, saving me from dragging luggage on the high-speed rail and bus. Plus, I thought it was a large group of 40, but it was actually a small group of 8, so the experience was good. Our guide, Jimmy, was great; he helped with taking photos and storing our luggage. Sun Moon Lake is beautiful, especially on a clear day, so be sure to check the weather forecast!
