Batu Caves are beautiful, but they're crowded, stuffy, damp, and slippery. The stop at the store with rather high prices was confusing. It would be nice if the route information was posted in a group, perhaps on WhatsApp, as it was difficult to understand the guide's English.ā

Batu Caves, located in the northern suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, is a Hindu temple built inside a limestone cave. A giant gilded statue of Hindu war god stands at the entrance. Reaching the temple requires climbing 272 colorful steps, and one must constantly be wary of numerous monkeys!ā

Be prepared for this not to be a tour, but a taxi service that takes you to your destination. No tour or explanation. The driver picked us up and waited in the car. Yes, the sights are magnificent, but you need to learn their history for yourself. Be careful near the batu; macaques stole my phone and wallet from my pocket in front of us. They are arrogant, aggressive, and thieving. Overall, the batu is a dissonant attraction. Yes, it's beautiful on the outside, but inside it's a complete dump: filthy and stinking, despite the functioning Hindu temple. Entrance tickets are not included in the tour price, but they, with the exception of the TV tower, are inexpensive. The price for the TV tower observation deck was discouraging š
for Malaysians, it's around a thousand rubles, and for non-Malaysians, about four, even with a residence permit.ā

We had an amazing trip with the driver Mr. Ng. He came in time, followed all the program properly and suggested the best places and poses for pictures. During the trip we were provided with water, charger and even authentic scarfs for memorable pictures. Mr. Ng was very polite, attentive and even organized extra service on our request. The trip is interesting showing culture, history and religion of the country. Very worthy to go. Thanks a lot! We are happy!ī„
