Our guide Dionysis was very helpful and warm-hearted! He was able to adapt to many of our 'personalized' activities such as luggage storage and drop-off at port instead of our hotel He was also very professional, knowing the weather well so that we set off for the Balos when it was still slightly raining (and hence avoided groups of other tourists), but when we reached it was all cleared and the view was beautiful. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot with us about Crete's history

Our guide Kostas was really helpful and told us a lot about Crete at our stops. We could ask him lots of questions and chat with him in a very relaxed way. It couldn't have been better. There were three of us on quads, which meant we could drive a bit faster since the convoy wasn't long. The route is really varied, with both on-road and off-road sections and fantastic views. Even with a few breaks, we covered an estimated 40-50 km in three hours, and it was definitely worth it. In conclusion, highly recommended.

We are so glad we booked this dining tour of Chania. Kostas was an excellent host, and showed my husband and me a wonderful time. He is very knowledgeable about his favorite city, and we not only learned a lot about Greek (and Cretan) food, we appreciated his insights into so many aspects of current life in Greece. It was all good, but a particular highlight was the olive oil testing—the shopkeeper had a deep knowledge of all the oils and honey of Greece, and we bought some great souvenirs for family back home. I highly recommend this tour!

As a small, well-coordinated group of only four guests, we enjoyed a very relaxing few hours strolling through Chania and learning a great deal about Cretan food, its preparation, and also its history and customs. We were able to sample everything and left feeling full and happy. A very heartfelt thank you to our lovely tour guide, also for the many helpful tips for our further stay in Chania.


