09:30 Arrive at [Tower Bridge] (exterior visit) (approx. 30 minutes). This bascule suspension bridge spans the River Thames and is named after its proximity to the Tower of London, serving as an iconic symbol of the city. You may also optionally take a [Thames River Sightseeing Cruise] to admire the beautiful scenery along the river. The Thames meanders through London, connecting many famous landmarks such as the London Eye, Millennium Bridge, and St. Paul's Cathedral. A modern and comfortable cruise offers a unique perspective to appreciate London's beauty (approx. 30 minutes; group members not participating in the cruise will proceed to the next destination by coach).
10:40 Begin the [London] city center tour (approximately 1.5 hr walking tour). Head to [Buckingham Palace] (exterior), one of the venues for national celebrations and royal welcoming ceremonies in the UK. Walk to [Westminster Abbey] (exterior), a key location in "The Da Vinci Code," and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site and Gothic Revival masterpiece [Palace of Westminster] (exterior), as well as the iconic London landmark [Big Ben] (exterior). See "the world's most photographed doorway" at [10 Downing Street] (exterior). 12:30 Gather at the designated meeting point and proceed to [Trafalgar Square].
13:00 Arrive at Trafalgar Square (also known as Pigeon Square due to the large number of pigeons often seen there) (approx. 1 hr for sightseeing and lunch). Trafalgar Square was built to commemorate the famous Battle of Trafalgar, with a monument and bronze statue of British naval hero Lord Nelson standing at its center.
Departure at 14:00 for The British Museum.
14:30 Arrive at The British Museum (approx. 2.5 hr visit). Its vast and diverse collection is rare among world museums. (If the museum is temporarily closed, additional time will be allocated to other attractions.)
