▲ The Little Mermaid is located in Langelinie Park in the northeastern part of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was created by a Danish sculptor based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Mermaid." The bronze statue was unveiled in Langelinie Park in 1913 and has a history of over a century. As a world-famous statue and a symbol of Copenhagen, it attracts countless visitors.

▲ The Little Mermaid is only 1.5 meters tall, about the height of a ten-year-old child. From a distance, this half-human, half-fish figure sits gracefully on a massive rock, appearing serene and carefree. However, upon closer inspection, The Little Mermaid reveals herself as a melancholy young maiden. Visitors can carefully observe the distinctive facial expressions of The Little Mermaid.

▲ This beautiful statue had its head repeatedly stolen by thieves, so the head of The Little Mermaid seen today is a later transplant and no longer the original. Concerned about potential damage from excessive visitors, the local government relocated The Little Mermaid further into the deep sea in March 2006. Now, when visiting Longti Park, visitors can only view The Little Mermaid in the ocean from behind the seaside railings and take photos with it from a distance. Please note that the area outside the railings tends to be crowded with visitors, so safety precautions should be taken when taking photos.
