▲ Seljalandsfoss is located in southwestern Iceland and is one of the taller waterfalls near Reykjavik. There is a curved path at the base of Seljalandsfoss that allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall, offering a unique perspective to admire its spectacular scenery.
▲ Skógafoss cascades down 60 meters from a lush forest with tremendous force, often featured in advertisements. Its fame stems not from its grand scale or beautiful appearance, but from an ancient legend. The Viking who discovered this waterfall supposedly threw a large chest of treasure into the deep pool below. After this tale spread, countless treasure hunters flocked to the site.
▲ Solheimajokull is an outlet glacier flowing from Myrdalsjokull, Iceland's fourth largest ice cap. Unlike other glaciers, it doesn't appear as the pure white or blue ice one might imagine. Due to an active volcano beneath Solheimajokull, volcanic ash from eruptions has covered the entire glacier, creating a unique fusion of ice and ash that gives it distinctive black-and-white coloration.
