Children aged 0-4 can participate for free, while those aged 5-15 are eligible for child pricing. If traveling with free children, please note the quantity of free children when booking or contact customer support. All children must be booked and travel with an accompanying adult.
[Swim with Dolphins]
The minimum age requirement is 8 years old, with children aged 8-15 eligible for child pricing. (All travelers must understand and speak English and possess adequate swimming ability)
How to use
Place order - Receive e-voucher - Arrive at Akaroa wharf during validity period for check-in - Board the boat - Cruise with guide commentary - Return to wharf
Change & cancellation policies
If a cancellation request is submitted before 12:00 AM, 5 day(s) prior to the date of use, no cancellation fee will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted before 12:00 AM 3 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 50% will be charged.
If a cancellation request is submitted after 12:00 AM 3 day(s) before the date of use, a fee of 100% will be charged.
Cancellation is not allowed after activation or reservation.
If a discount is applied, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the original price before the discount and will not exceed the amount paid.
Partial refund is not available.
To change the date or time, please cancel your booking and book again.
Important note
Important Notes:
1. Cruises depart daily (weather permitting)
If you don't spot Hector's dolphins during the cruise (2% probability), you can return another day for a free cruise.
3. In the event that we have to cancel the cruise due to weather conditions, a full refund will be issued.
The knowledgeable crew on board will provide an English guide to the port's history and views along the way.
5. The cabin is equipped with a bar and restroom
Due to strong winds at sea, please bring warm clothing, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera even in warm weather.
The cruise is suitable for families and children, but for safety and the consideration of other passengers, please supervise your children at all times.

Akaroa town and its spectacular harbor are just a 90-minute drive from Christchurch.
