1. Agent was super efficient and helpful. Booked transport + tickets through them—cheaper than DIY.
2. Big, comfortable car for 6 adults.
3. Travel is long (3+ hours). Left 7:30 AM, arrived ~10:45 AM. Pickup back at 4:30–5 PM felt a bit rushed—didn’t reach mountain top.
4. Please bring an oxygen tank per pax if you plan to hike the stairs—1 tank lasts 8–10 pumps.
5. No proper restaurants at the top, just small stalls selling snacks, drinks, KFC, etc.
6. After cable car, need a 10-min uphill walk to reach shuttle bus.
7. Driver drove quite fast on the way back—felt a bit risky coming down the mountain. Safety first!
Overall, good experience but schedule could be more relaxed.★

A pleasant trip to Shilin Nine Towns, compared to the crowded Shilin, I prefer the scenery of Nine Towns, the cable car, the boat in the gorge, and the cool cave. The driver was very good, drove very steadily, and introduced Kunming's cultural scenery along the way.★

The tour was well executed. One day before departure, we received information on our driver and pickup details. Our driver, Zhang Limei, arrived timely and greeted us with warmth. The car was clean and comfortable. Drinking water was provided too. She gave us helpful information and advice on the way. The lunch restaurant she suggested was nice and suited our tastebud. The tour coordinator and driver helped us purchase the tickets for both attractions, which made the tour much easier for foreigners like us. Clear instructions were provided on the pickup location after we finished exploring the attractions. There was sufficient time for both attractions. Overall, it has been an enjoyable trip.★

Our driver, Ms. Ma, was a very steady driver and introduced us to many local specialties. We asked to leave early in the morning, and Ms. Ma picked us up very early. We had a great time watching and feeding the seagulls at Dianchi Lake. On the way back, she even took us to Kunming Old Street. A relaxing and enjoyable trip!★

A大葱~当地游规划师15368162780 were very prompt and quick with the arrangements. 司机：李Shifu 车型：红旗EQM5 arrived 10min early to pick up from hotel. Smooth and arriving to Stone Forest and meet up with our English tour guide. Very good experience and tour guide with us can converse between Mandarin and English. The tour took approx close to 3hrs. After tour, Shifu brought us to a place for lunch. Extremely nice big portions unable to finish for 2 of us. A little pricey yet worth to eat. We return back to our hotel reach around 3pm. A just nice to book private trip if solely to visit Stone Forest only. It’s perfectly suitable for us.★

The assigned driver was exceptionally pleasant, punctual, friendly and experienced. He (王师傅）suggested a changing of the itinerary order in order to avoid jams and crowds and it was great. After exiting Xishan, we saw the volume of people and cars coming in to the attractions. When we visited the Stone Forest, the crowds were also thinning so we could take great photos without the crowd. He was very friendly and helpful, ensuring we don't get lost and keeping track of our progress. I'm also very grateful for Herbert and the team checking on our progress. We only booked for a driver so there was no guide. Overall it was very enjoyable and values for money.
