The Shanghai Pudong Art Museum proudly presents its year-end international blockbuster exhibition, "Picasso Through the Eyes of Paul Smith". As the first stop of its global tour and the exclusive Chinese venue, this exhibition is jointly organized by the Pudong Art Museum and the Musée National Picasso-Paris. It showcases classic works spanning the artist's entire career from the museum's precious collection through a contemporary lens, offering China's most comprehensive Picasso retrospective to date with full coverage of his creative genres, delivering an unprecedented artistic feast for Chinese audiences.
The Pudong Art Museum will collaborate with the Louvre Museum in France to present "The Marvel of Patterns: Masterpieces of Indian and Other Art from the Louvre," marking one of the largest exhibitions ever held by the Louvre in China.
The exhibition is divided into three major sections, featuring approximately 300 precious artifacts from the Louvre's collection. These exhibits cover significant categories of Islamic art including ceramics, jewelry, jade, glass, metalwork, carpets, calligraphy, painting, sculpture, and wood carving.
