Reviews: Ho Chi Minh City Cu Chi Tunnel 1-day tour [shooting experience + premium small group + war remnants exploration]
Guest User2026-03-15
Our driver, Amin, was a Chinese-American who spoke excellent Mandarin.
Our family of four had originally booked a small car, but they were unavailable for the day, so they assigned us a nine-seater luxury van.
Honestly, this was far too luxurious for an average family trip.
Secondly, visiting the Cu Chi area in Ho Chi Minh City is truly unique. It's both historically significant and very interesting. Many tour groups from various countries come here, mostly Europeans and Americans, to see why the West couldn't win the Vietnam War.
It's also very entertaining. You can climb through the tunnels, eat cassava, visit underground meeting rooms, see underground war films, and even an underground medical station. Frankly, our Chinese tunnel warfare sites aren't as fun as this.★

A half-day visit, including tickets, transportation, and a guided tour, was quite fulfilling. The Unification Palace was a very thorough visit.★

Reviews: Cu Chi Tunnel and Mekong River Delta 1-day tour [optional live shooting experience + coconut grove boat ride]
Guest User2026-07-28
The description says it includes shooting. In fact, you have to pay an extra 750,000 per person to shoot. The first stop was a tour of shell paintings, with a strong hint: buy some. If they'd done this after the tunnel tour, it would have made some sense. In several places, they openly demanded tips, and in some places, they practically spat when we tossed them the first bill we found. Well, include these tips in the price if you really need them. It's incredibly stressful. Now, about the good stuff. The guide was the best! She explained everything incredibly interestingly and clearly in English, making everything very clear. The island tour and the ride through the banana grove were also very enjoyable. The candy production was interesting to watch, and it was even appropriate to buy some for yourself and your friends. They also sell delicious coconut ice cream there. Overall: I would recommend the tour to friends, but there are some improvements.★

Reviews: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Full Day Tour (Cu Chi – My Tho – Ben Tre)

Our guide, Fan, was very enthusiastic, running around the whole time guiding everyone and helping to solve any problems we had. If we had any questions, Fan promptly looked up information and provided accurate answers. The Mekong River attractions were rather boring and disorganized, indicating a lack of development and management capabilities; however, this is not the fault of the travel agency or the guide.★

Reviews: Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour

Excellent tour! I chose the option with a maximum of 15 people, but in the end there were only 6 of us, which made the experience even more exclusive. Since I was staying in District 1, I was picked up directly from my hotel, and the van ride was also flawless. Our guide, An, was fantastic: friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! Highly recommended!
