Our guide, Shanshan, was the bridge connecting our journey with the 'ancient mystery' and the 'present charm'. At Sanxingdui, she was a composed enigma solver. With clear logic, she peeled back the layers of mystery surrounding the ancient Shu civilization, imbuing the cold bronze with the warmth of stories. When she pointed to the 'Divine Tree Reaching Heaven,' we seemed to hear the chanting of the ancient Shu priests. At the Panda Base, she was a joyful sharer. Knowing every panda's story intimately, her eyes sparkled as she showed us the little bundles of joy playing and munching on bamboo shoots. She not only showed us their cuteness but also helped us understand the significance of protecting them. From millennia-old cultural relics to the heartwarming paradise of national treasures, Shanshan perfectly navigated this vast shift in time and theme. With knowledge as her vessel, enthusiasm as her sail, and meticulous care as her warm breeze, she guided us on a perfect cultural and natural journey. Ms. Xu's guided tour of Sanxingdui was fantastic! She brought the historical stories and archaeological anecdotes behind the bronze sacred tree and the protruding-eyed mask to life in a vivid and engaging way. Her explanations were logically clear and highlighted the key points. Following her, the previously obscure ancient Shu civilization suddenly became vibrant and fascinating – a truly rewarding experience! She also actively guided us to observe the details of the artifacts. She was incredibly enthusiastic throughout, maintaining a perfect pace without rushing us. This trip to Sanxingdui was made all the more meaningful by her! I also want to commend the driver! Punctual, reliable, and a skilled driver, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. The car was spotless, making me feel very comfortable. The driver's service was superb; he was always available and extremely reliable. I would definitely choose this driver again!

It wasn’t really something to complain about—the service met the basic requirements of travel. The driver picked us up on time and drove us safely to each destination. If you don’t expect much service, then it’s fine. However, if you expect a bit of service-minded attitude, you might feel slightly disappointed. On the way back, the driver turned off the heater that we had turned on, and it became very cold in the car. We couldn’t really do anything about it because communication was difficult. Even though I requested a Thai-speaking or English-speaking driver in the app, the driver didn’t speak either language. Communication was only through WeChat, with him typing in Chinese and us using translation apps. While he was driving, it was impossible to communicate properly. We were freezing, and I couldn’t ask him to turn the heater back on. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely could have been better. If I have another chance, I would probably book with a different driver

I visited Sanxingdui on my birthday, which coincidentally is the same year the major discovery was made (1986)! It was an incredible experience. The museum perfectly showcases the mysterious Shu civilization, with its one-of-a-kind bronze figures and captivating gold masks. The artifacts are so different from other ancient Chinese cultures, making you wonder about their origins. A truly unforgettable and mind-blowing place.


