Absolutely excellent tour of the street food in Palermo. The guide, Angelo I believe, was brilliant and gave us a great historic introduction to Palermo’s history/food history. Delicious food (especially the arancini) and I even tried the spleen sandwich which was actually tasty!

This tour is more focused on history than sampling of food. We visited fountains, churches, the archive building, a square and the market. In the market we sampled two items, a deep fried chickpea flat bread and an arancinii and selected from an orange or pomegranate juice. Then at the end of the tour we selected from a gelato or a cannelloni.

We took this tour with Vinz. Vinz is madly in love with his job. His enthusiasm ad energy takes you breath away. Vinz will educate, engage and entertain you. A very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. You could tell she loves her city. She also showed us where to find good food and drinks off the beaten track. At the end, we were treated to wine and local tastings. Highly recommended tour!
