Reviews: Hobbiton & Rotorua including Wai-O-Tapu - Small Group Tour from Auckland

Amazing places to visit! We had a great driver who's knowledgeable and accommodating to ensure a pleasant trip for all of us. There were about 6 of us, so a small group which is great. Very enjoyable and recommended!
Reviews: Rotorua: Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Park Entry Ticket
Guest User2026-01-13
The geothermal park is truly impressive, with an extraordinary array of colors and natural phenomena. The geyser, however, is artificial and smells of Marseille soap, clearly intended for tourists: this aspect didn't convince me. Furthermore, immediately after the 10:30 a.m. show, most visitors flock to the park at once, creating some very crowded spots along the route. Overall, however, the experience is interesting and I recommend it.
Reviews: Lake Taupo: 1.5-Hour Maori Rock Carvings 5:00 PM Cruise
Guest User2026-01-09
great cruise with lots of fun facts and amazing to be on the lake and see the carvings. Followed the "skippers" advice and went to two mile bay sailing club for dinner with sunset- absolutely fantastic. Great pizza and drinks virtually at the waterfront
