Itinerary
Paris' Left Bank is known for its neighborhoods, restaurants, shops, and historic sites. It has long been a center for writers, artists, and students.

The tour starts at the Shakespeare and Company bookstore, where you meet your guide and group. You'll learn about the store's “Tumbleweed” program, where writers can stay in exchange for helping at the shop.

From there, you walk to Notre-Dame and hear about its history and restoration after the 2019 fire. You'll also pass Point Zero, the center point of Paris, and cross the Pont au Double back to the Left Bank.

Next, you visit Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre, one of the city's oldest churches, where you can see one of the oldest trees in Paris and views of Notre-Dame. You'll pass the Musée de Cluny, built on the remains of Roman baths, and hear about its collection, including The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries.
