Around 250 million years ago, a vast salt lake in the region left behind deposits that tectonic forces still push into the Alps today. On arrival at the salt mines, you will be greeted directly by a guide who will lead you to the entrance

Due to the year-round low temperatures of 7 to 10° Celsius (45° to 50° Fahrenheit), warm clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended

Protective clothing is provided onsite

No admission for children under the age of 4
