
▲ Mount Wutai is located in Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. It is one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. East Terrace (Wanghai Peak): At an elevation of 2,795 meters, it is located 10 kilometers east of Taihuai Town. Renowned for its breathtaking sunrise views, visitors can witness the spectacular golden rays emerging from the sea of clouds in the early morning. The mountain breeze sweeping across the meadows creates an enchanting scenery. South Terrace (Jinxiu Peak): Standing at 2,485 meters, it is situated 12 kilometers south of Taihuai Town. During late summer and early autumn, the mountain is adorned with blooming golden lotus flowers, forming a vast yellow floral sea. The gentle breeze carries a unique fragrance of grass and herbs.
