Some areas in Nepal had slightly weaker signal due to the mountains, but that’s understandable. Overall, the eSIM was reliable and made our trip much easier.

I booked the flight from home (30 minutes) and was then persuaded on-site to extend it to 60 minutes. The downside: the plane is enclosed, and photos can only be taken through the windows. However, you then fly into the mountains instead of just to the edge. Absolutely recommended in great weather. A video of the flight is available for purchase at a reasonable price, although it's only at 30fps, which is unusual in Germany – it's transferred to your smartphone.
