MY tour guide today was Samantha. Her service was 100% amazing. She was on time. She was very knowledgeable about the rides and suggested good ones that was appropriate for the baby or only adults. It was an amazing experience overall. The guide Susan was amazing . She made sure the whole group met in the location to start the tour. She is quite passionate and knowledgeable. She took good care of the group and her English is quite good. As a group we felt like a family . It was great meeting different people . The tour was quite insightful and makes one just awe at the Chinese culture and history. Definitely worth it! Oh and I booked the trip same day which was a plus on short notice 🥰

Our guide Mr Wang was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. It was an extremely informative tour, and he brought his own materials (prints) to supplement the tour to explain the history of the mansion. Great references to 还珠格格, the famous TV drama featuring a fictitious princess of the Qian Long emperor. You need to be quite fluent in Chinese and have a basic understanding of Chinese imperial history to truly appreciate what Mr Wang is sharing. Suitably impressed with the tour and I will recommend it to any history buff interested in the history of Qing dynasty.


