This tour was amazing. Yes you can go visit these sites on your own but you will miss all the important information because there is no pamphlets or information plaques. Tommy our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the temples and the pagoda. He explained every detail from the structure, ground works, and animals living at each site. He explained rituals and cultural beliefs that were upheld at the temples. He explained the story of Chiang Mai and the meaning behind each site. Without Tommy you wouldn’t know these details. I went for the evening tour with a small group of 5 people. The van was very roomy and spacious with great working AC. The pick up and drop off times were very punctual.★

Wow this was an amazing hike ! It was definitely hard - over 3000 ft elevation gain and about 6-7 miles distance - but split up in sections which helped. We visited 2 temples plus the Karen village. Had an excellent lunch plus coffee and snacks (coffee and snacks at your own expense). Beautiful overlooks and scenery! The guide was great and the lunch was so good ! Highly recommended but not for beginner hikers.★
