My mistake was assuming the tour would be guided in English. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the itinerary itself was perfect. The highlight was the night boat ride; it was truly beautiful. The tour guide was also very helpful, and we communicated through translation apps.

We're from Russia and booked our first tour through Trip.com. Everything was quick and easy, payment was via a Russian card, but we were in a group with a Chinese-speaking guide. Read the description carefully: the tour must be in English (not the junior English-speaking guide at check-in). We decided to go, and naturally, we didn't understand anything, but the organization was excellent. We weren't "lost," everyone got stickers, and there were English-speaking tourists in the group who stayed with us and explained everything. Book it, you won't regret it. It's a long way to go on your own or by taxi. It's another hour and a half from the train station to the old town, but we'd like to spend more time there. We were offered an interactive show, which we agreed to. It's about 1,000 rubles more, but it's fantastic.

We visited gardens, took a boat ride, saw the local market, and walked through the water alleys. It was a lot of very cool things! Our guide Laura was a wonderful storyteller, and I learned so much as a first-timer. I highly recommend both the tour and Laura. truly an amazing experience!

Suzhou is always on my wish list and finally I made this happen . Kenny was our guide and She was so knowledgeable about this city and shared a lot of intersting places which we may never visit by ourselves. We also learned how to make a small piece of silk embroidery which is so meaningful . The local market is so much fun to visit, we tried a lot of local snacks and dimsum there . Would highly recommend to anyone to try.


