Thanks to our guide, Seokbong Oh, it was a truly enjoyable, fulfilling, and unforgettable trip. Most tours are focused on shrines, so I signed up to see more. He even checked complex road conditions in real time, which made for an efficient tour. He even recommended local restaurants and must-eat convenience store food! I give him full marks!!!!!

Thank you to our driver and guide, Mr. Toshiya Oka, for your service today. Due to the weather, it snowed heavily yesterday and the road conditions were poor, so we arrived an hour late today. We were very touched to see how attentively the driver and guide accompanied my mother to Sanzen-in Temple. The road was icy and slippery, and he even thoughtfully used a shovel to help clear the snow to prevent my mother from slipping. My mother had a great time and saw the beautiful snow scenery.

I felt this was a truly heartwarming trip to Kyoto! From the magnificent golden splendor of Kinkaku-ji to the thousand torii gates of Fushimi Inari Shrine, every stop was breathtaking and thought-provoking. The tour guide was knowledgeable, articulate, and incredibly attentive, patiently answering all our questions.

This tour covers the most important sights in Kyoto and allows you to see a lot in just one day. Our guide Angeles was excellent: she took great care of the group, answered all questions thoroughly, and made sure everyone was back at the agreed meeting points on time for onward travel. The group was bilingual (English/Spanish), and Angeles always ensured that everyone received the same information and that no one felt left out. As the tour includes some of Kyoto’s major tourist hotspots, it can get quite crowded at times. However, this is simply the nature of these popular sights and not the fault of the tour provider or our guide. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour, especially for anyone who wants to see Kyoto’s main highlights in a single day.


